Over the years I’ve worked with a variety of clients, but I gotta say my recent project in July 2024 in Adelaide, takes the cake! When it comes to the creative freedom, they had a bold and colourful vision and left the rest up to me.
I love a client who is not afraid of colour!
Plus, a huge bonus was the canvas I got to work on.
The family contacted me to paint three murals in their home, that is currently undergoing a full renovation and extension with the builders Soriano Construction. The level of detail and quality of this project is like nothing I’ve seen before.
I was given a tour of the property at our first site meeting and blown away by the style, detail and design of the home. They asked me to install a mural for their two daughters bedrooms and at the end of the hallway in the mud room.
Being an internal wall, you would usually expect a smooth surface, but they have chosen extra textures in their extension, so I had the pleasure of painting on brick, giving the mural an added pattern to the design and creating a street art feel.
The designs chosen tie together with the architectural design, bathroom colours and custom-made furture that has been selected.
This is an incredibly bold design choice and has made such a feature to the property. I can’t wait to see the final photos when the building project is complete and the styling of the rooms. I’ll update you with more photos soon! You can follow their renovation story here.
