Wilderness School
Artist in Residence at Wilderness School in Adelaide was an incredible experience! I worked with every class from prep to Year 12 during the year. I ran workshops, gave artist talks, and even joined the Year 9 camp to create murals together. From the art centre’s inspiring atmosphere to the students’ enthusiasm and talent, the residency was a truly rewarding experience that highlighted the power of creativity in education.

Visiting Indulkana Anangu School
During a week-long visit to Indulkana Anangu School, I had the privilege of working with students and teachers on a mural project that became so much more than just art. What began with no sketch or plan grew into three vibrant murals, two workshops, and a powerful connection to culture, creativity, and community. This experience opened my heart and deepened my understanding of the challenges and incredible strengths of remote Indigenous education.

How to Set Up a Market Stall
I’m an absolute market lover. I adore meeting the makers, seeing their creativity on display, exploring unique stall layouts, and soaking up the inspiration. Now, for the first time, I’m stepping behind the table, I'll be running my own stall! I have no idea where to begin, so I’ve turned to the experts. I interviewed Libby, Jess, and Jen to gather their best tips and tricks from years of market experience.

Zoe shares her experiences of teaching on Country, the role of art in student wellbeing, and what meaningful community engagement truly looks like in a remote context.
Queen Street Mural Collaboration
More collaboration is exactly what public art needs. It pushes artists to think differently, step outside their comfort zones, and ultimately leads to more diverse outcomes. Our hope is that this mural continues to surprise and delight those who pass by. Whether it’s the bold colours, the subtle Queen references hidden in the design, or the way the artwork connects with its surroundings, we want it to feel like a little burst of joy in this residential corner of Croydon.

Eudunda Area School Mural
Every school deserves a vibrant space like this! I had the pleasure of transforming the outdoor kitchen at Eudunda Area School with a bright, colourful mural designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for students. The goal was to turn a dull, beige area into a lively and inspiring environment that promotes positive wellbeing for both students and the wider school community. This project was an absolute joy to work on!

Arts in Health Mural
I’ve just completed a mural for the Nutrition Department at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide. I focused on pastel colours and organic shapes. Many of their patience would find strong, bright colours a sensory overload and it was important to create a welcoming space while patience wait for their appointments.
