Creativity During Coronavirus Pandemic

Quotes Problems Are opportunities for creativity Leah Grant.jpg

As the news changes rapidly during the pandemic, I am also seeing creativity bloom. With all the restrictions of isolation and social distancing we are all being creative.

Creative in how we work from home, how we parent, what we create, what we cook, how we shop, where we go, how we connect with others, how we support each other, how we communicate, how we show love.

We are all innately creative and during a really difficult time you can find some beauty.

“Problems are opportunities for creativity.” - unknown. I read this somewhere and I don’t know the source. But it just stuck with me and I keep thinking about it. I hope it inspires you today.

As schools close and students forced to stay in isolation, I am doing all I can to update my teaching resources on both my Teachers Pay Teachers store and my website. I want to support you to encourage creativity in your now online, virtual classroom or if you’re a parent as you suddenly have become an Art Teacher. I have a new poster package available to bring positivity and inspiration for students during the Coronavirus pandemic. My goal was to create something that brings calm and peace and also encourages students to continue to make, create and experiment. These designs have a bold botanical illustration and include quotes and Christian Bible verses. Included in the download is A3 printable versions as well as phone wallpapers.

We need to stay positive for our kids and keep them learning and creating. My biggest tip for parents is to look for the “Ah Ha!” moments and don’t focus on the final product outcome. Creativity is ALL about the process. Encourage, praise and make opportunities for creativity in your home.
